01

Live with it

Example protocol: four weeks of ordinary use before a score is filed. No unboxing-day verdicts.

02

Score the same twelve points

Build, performance, value, and everyday use are weighted in public. Sample numbers live in frontmatter.

03

Publish the miss as well as the buy

If the product is situational, the headline says so. Affiliate revenue does not move the number in this demo policy.

Letters from example readers

Proof, written in full sentences.

“The scoring page made it obvious why one kettle won. I stopped bouncing between twelve tabs.”
Mira Ellison Example reader, Portland
“It reads like a magazine and still sends me to a retailer with one tap. That is the whole job.”
Jonah Hart Example reader, Glasgow
“I trust a desk that publishes the misses. The “wait” verdicts are as useful as the buys.”

Questions from the sample desk

FAQ

Are the products on this demo real?

No. Every product name, score, price, and retailer is sample content so theme buyers can see the layout. Replace them before publishing.

How do affiliate links work in this theme?

Each review has an affiliateUrl field in MDX frontmatter. The theme adds rel="nofollow sponsored noopener" from src/config/site.ts. Point those URLs at your own partner links.

Can I change colors without touching every file?

Yes. Edit the CSS variables in src/styles/global.css and the copy in src/config/site.ts. The README walks through a first-day setup.

Does Verdict include a CMS?

No. Content lives in local MDX collections so the theme stays portable, fast, and easy to sell as a self-contained package.

Is this copy legally usable as a disclosure?

No. The disclosure pages are labeled as example text. Replace them with counsel-reviewed language for your jurisdiction.
