How a sample score is made.

This page exists so buyers can publish a transparent method. The numbers below are demonstration copy, not a lab report.

The method, abbreviated

A desk, not a catalog.

Example process copy. Buyers should replace these numbers and steps with their own testing protocol.

01

Live with it

Example protocol: four weeks of ordinary use before a score is filed. No unboxing-day verdicts.

02

Score the same twelve points

Build, performance, value, and everyday use are weighted in public. Sample numbers live in frontmatter.

03

Publish the miss as well as the buy

If the product is situational, the headline says so. Affiliate revenue does not move the number in this demo policy.

What “10” would mean

In this example scale, a 10 is reserved for a product we would buy with our own money, gift without caveats, and still recommend a year later. None of the sample products reach it on purpose. Leave room at the top so the scale stays honest.

What we do not do

We do not sell placements, ghost-write manufacturer copy, or hide affiliate relationships. The disclosure in the header is sample language — replace it with your counsel’s version before you take a single commission.
